Mothers Hidden Pain

Mothers Hidden Pain

(Under construction)
She is a 36 x 24 in canvas painted in acrylic.

This piece is a self representation. Being born with a rare genectic disorder  called Elhers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) I have spend much of my life in hidden chronic pain.
This painting makes the invisible struggle  visible. It express mothers need to do it all with a smile. Mom sucks  it up throws a sweater on and keep going no matter how sick she is.
This paintings early concept work started 2016 and have since evolved. Though even in her early simpler incarceration she was enough to aid in  my health journey. Haunting a doctor into wanting answers ultimately leading to a dignoses.
