Rooted

"Rooted" is a 24x 36 aryclic and gold on a gallery wrapped canvas.

This painting is one of a series of Fae ( fairy folk). This piece is base on the red chakra also known as the root. My model balances being a school teacher and mother to a special needs toddler. Unlike the other Fae in my series she has no wings, because her magic comes from her roots. Down to earth and grounded. The Root Fae teaches us magic doesn't always come from how far you can fly. Their Mana is gained through a stoic stability.
